Address Line 1 and Line 2 for a Korean address
For the default K-Address shopping form, put the building number and road name in Address Line 1, and apartment, building or floor details in Address Line 2. Keep City, State / Province and Postal Code in their own fields. A complete English address still puts the apartment details before the road, and the Amazon preset may combine short details into Line 1.

What belongs in Address Line 1 and Address Line 2?
Start with the road address in Line 1 and the apartment details in Line 2 when using the default K-Address preset. For the example shown here, the formatter returns 152, Teheran-ro for Line 1 and Apt 1203, Bldg 101 for Line 2. The road and building number come from the repository’s base address; the apartment numbers are fictional details added for this guide. Keep Gangnam-gu, Seoul and 06236 in the City, State / Province and Postal Code fields shown below. Amazon’s general address guidance also says to use the dedicated city and state fields instead of putting those values in Line 2. These examples explain how K-Address divides an address, rather than documenting every shopping site’s form. Read the labels on the form you are completing and compare the saved result with the complete address before placing an order.
Why does the complete English address put the unit first?
The official English address order runs from small address elements to large ones, so apartment details precede the road address. A two-line shopping form separates those elements into fields and may display them in a different order. The Ministry of the Interior and Safety’s example begins with 705-dong 1104-ho before the building number and road name. K-Address preserves that unit-first arrangement in its complete-address formatter, while its default form preset puts the detail string into Line 2. You can therefore see the same apartment information at the beginning of a complete address and in the second field of a form. Check the actual values rather than expecting the line labels to describe the official order. The official-style formatter uses -dong and -ho; the simple formatter uses Apt and Bldg. Choose the output you intend to use and make sure neither apartment number disappears when you split or combine fields.
Can Address Line 2 be left blank?
Line 2 can be blank in a K-Address result when no apartment details were entered or when the selected preset placed those details in Line 1. Check which situation applies before assuming that the address is complete. The Amazon preset first builds a string with the details before the road. If that combined string contains no more than 35 characters, it becomes Line 1 and Line 2 is empty; otherwise the two parts remain separate. That threshold belongs to K-Address’s formatting logic. It does not establish an Amazon field limit. If the destination has a unit number, confirm that it appears somewhere in the saved street address. If you have no unit details, do not copy the fictional apartment numbers from this page just to fill the empty field. Keep city, province and postal code in their own fields and follow the current form’s instructions.
The converter’s search interface is in Korean. It returns English addresses and shopping form fields.
